I got my start as a photographer back in high school, where I learned the principles of the craft through hours split between the field, darkrooms, and Photoshop.
Once I moved to Shanghai, I began to take photos professionally. Through my work as a freelancer, I covered business openings, talks, live shows, and even worked the occasional studio shoot. That said, I still love to take photos for my own pleasure.
When I was 19, I took a three month trip through China. I farmed and couchsurfed in Beijing, Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, Sichuan, and Yunnan before returning home to Shanghai. Here’s a snapshot of my journey.
