FEAST2015
上海 / SHANGHAI
FEAST was a student art publication that I cofounded at my university that created a home online for artists of all media at NYU Shanghai.
Project Neuron was a motion-capture dance and visual music performance designed by NYU Shanghai faculty, students and local artists, that debuted at the opening of the 43rd International Computer Music Conference (ICMC) at the Shanghai Symphony Hall. I assisted as a motion capture technician and event photographer.

佛光山2019
佛光山寺 / FO GUANG SHAN MONESTARY
In 2019, I backpacked around Taiwan through a combination of couchsurfing and volunteering at spiritual communities and farms. One of my longest stays was at the world famous Fo Guang Shan Monestary where I volunteered at the museum, inside temples, and in the monks’ offices. My longest volunteer placement was with their media department, for whom I took photos and created videos for their Facebook pages.

民以食为天2014
上海 / SHANGHAI
When I first arrived in China, every night a man set up his grill less than a block from where I lived to serve a Chinese street-food favorite known as chuan (串). Priced at about 15 cents a stick, this cheap dinner was how I survived after first arriving. 民以食为天 is named after a Chinese idiom that means “to the people food is heaven” and unknowingly documented the final moments of Shanghai’s bustling street food scene before a wide reaching crackdown virtually erased the city's street food culture.
